Materials needed:
*Paper and crayons *Tree stump of freshly cut tree/trees
Take a walk around your neighborhood or nearby park and find a tree stump of a tree that was recently cut down. Using the Tree Rings information in the PDF, observe the tree rings on the stump and learn about the life of the tree that was cut down. Take a rubbing/some rubbings of the tree stump. Enjoy!
